when pressing down on backspace it directs to the open tabs screen, when selecting all and press backspace, it removes the highlights, how do I delete my full message?

Since the back button also serves as the recent screen button, you'll need to delete an entire message a different way:
Right soft key
Top left icon “Select text”
Left soft key “Select all”
Left soft key “Cut”
